Garlic Lover’s Chicken

20161210_184903This is one of my all time favorite recipes, that I do not make very often because it’s not exactly healthy. But, it’s Christmas time and I have butter on hand (I almost never have “real” butter in my house) soooo…it’s time for some yummy tummy Garlic Lover’s Chicken. The recipe is from Taste of Home magazine from about an eon ago. I think I’ve been making it well over 10 years. You gotta love garlic and lemon and butter to love this recipe, and WE DO!

  • skinless chicken pieces
  • 1//4 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 Tblsp minced fresh parsley
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesean
  • ½ cup dry bread crumbs (panko works
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tblsp lemon juice
  • paprika
  1. In a large bag, combine first 5 ingredients
  2. Place milk in shallow bowl
  3. Dip chicken in milk, then shake in read crumbs
  4. Place in well-greased 9×13 pan
  5. Combine lemon, butter and garlic
  6. Drizzle over chicken
  7. Sprinkle with paprika
  8. Bake UNCOVERED at 350 until chicken is done 25-35 min average

Serve with mashed potatoes topped with a bit of the garlic/butter drippings. YUM!
